Hi,
this is still an issue:
When installing Debian from an USB stick, an entry for the USB stick is
added to /etc/fstab:
'/dev/sdb1 /media/usb0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0'
Therefore every stick inserted in the /dev/sdb1 slot is mounted without
permission for a normal user and is thus inaccessible.
Removing this entry solves the problem.
I installed with a recent debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso.
I can't think of a scenario, where a user would want an automatically
created fstab entry for an USB stick. So this behavior should be changed.
Best regards,
Andreas
