Package: open-vm-tools-dkms Severity: minor Hi,
from trying, it looks like Open-vm-tools work fine with basic functionality if one does not install the kernel modules inside the VM. Please document (for example in the package description) what functionality is lost if one runs open-vm-tools without the kernel modules. This is necessary for the local admin to take an informed decision.
