Package: make
Version: 3.80-11
Severity: normal

Hello,

in '(make.info.gz)Catalogue of Rules, there is a paragrpah:

Making Lint Libraries from C, Yacc, or Lex programs
`N.ln' is made from `N.c' by running `lint'. The precise command
     is `$(LINT) $(LINTFLAGS) $(CPPFLAGS) -i'. The same command is
used on the C code produced from `N.y' or `N.l'.

but there is no section in '(make.info.gz)Implicit Variables' to
describe LINT and LINTFLAGS. While others (e.g. CC, CFLAGS) have.

Thanks.
