I started work on the latter at Debconf but haven't finished yet. While I appreciate you care about this, posting little snarky comments on this bug every now and again achieves nothing (clue: I was on vacation in between you filing your bug and saying "Totally no one at home at Debian"), especially when you display no signs of having noticed the previous bug traffic on the subject.
