s2both fails to resume from ram, even though s2ram and s2disk both work When s2both is run, it writes a file to disk, and goes into suspend but upon resume from ram, it fails with this message: S| open /dev/mem: Too many open files failed to initialise LRMI (Linux Real-Mode-Interface). If I then shutdown and reboot, it'll boot like normal, instead of from image If I s2both then take out the battery and unplug my computer it'll boot from image and s2ram and s2disk both work Dear Maintainer, *** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_us.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_us.UTF-8 (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages uswsusp depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.49 ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libgcrypt11 1.5.0-5+deb7u1 ii liblzo2-2 2.06-1 ii libpci3 1:3.1.9-6 ii libx86-1 1.1+ds1-10 Versions of packages uswsusp recommends: ii initramfs-tools 0.109.1 ii mount 2.20.1-5.3 uswsusp suggests no packages. -- debconf information: * uswsusp/compute_checksum: true uswsusp/no_snapshot: * uswsusp/suspend_loglevel: uswsusp/no_swap: uswsusp/resume_offset: * uswsusp/early_writeout: true * uswsusp/image_size: 1912362106 * uswsusp/compress: true uswsusp/create_RSA_key: false * uswsusp/snapshot_device: uswsusp/RSA_key_file: /etc/uswsusp.key * uswsusp/max_loglevel: * uswsusp/resume_device: /dev/sda6 * uswsusp/shutdown_method: platform * uswsusp/encrypt: false * uswsusp/splash: false uswsusp/RSA_key_bits: 1024 uswsusp/continue_without_swap: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
