Package: bash-completion
Version: 1:2.0-1
Severity: wishlist

Currently bash-completion is hardwired into every login
shell by some code in /etc/profile. This is pretty painful.
I would _love_ to avoid reading /usr/share/bash-completions/\
completions for every login.

Don't get me wrong, in many cases the bash-completions
are surely very usefull, but some modules in /usr/share/bash-\
completion/completions are apita (sorry). IMHO the downsides
outweigh the advantages by far.

Uninstalling bash-completion is not an option, of course.
I don't want to disable it for everybody, but just for my
own account.

Regards
Harri
