Hi,

You are currently using "set -e" in your initscript. This is generally
discouraged when using lsb logging as it prevent the status to be
printed in case the daemon is not starting properly.

It seems that removing "set -e" is not enough as even if the daemon is
failing to start, the script will returns 0.
