Hello! I briefly looked at backporting commits to get gnome-contacts to build against eds-3.8.
The following commits should do it: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-contacts/commit/?id=19152e1acb0b74274d08a6bc64c340532f4c1800 https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-contacts/commit/?id=dd8a5e385b1708c717b49ba945b3ba99d27f6bb8 ... and possibly also: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-contacts/commit/?id=1cf1d966bacd6456087f684493da72648cf3c68c (which needs trivial massage to apply) Unfortunately, it seems a newer upstream release is needed of folks then we have in Debian Unstable right now to be compatible with eds-3.8 and get gnome-contacts to work with eds-3.8.
