The manpage says:
If the --lsbsysinit option is not given then the names must
consist entirely of upper and lower case letters, digits,
underscores, and hyphens.
Changing it could break all kinds of things relying on the historical
behavior (dating back almost a decade).
So is changing it worthwhile?
