I meant to include a comment in the original RFS about #661591: #661591 "packages providing ifupdown scripts must have those scripts fixed if needed"
I have not fully tested exit codes, but the ifmetric if-up script should cleanly exit 0 or 1. Once I have tested it out, I will removed ifmetric from being affected. -- Kind regards, Michael
