This is quite an annoying bug.
It has been fixed in ubuntu bug DB

and is also mentioned in gnome bugzilla

I've tried all the gconftool-2 commands mentioned before on this bug, I've even
compiled and run
mc-install-default-macros, but that annoying dialog box still persists...
