This is of course right. You need to add the Categories field to the .desktop field in this case. See http://standards.freedesktop.org/desktop-entry-spec/latest/ar01s04.html http://standards.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/latest/apa.html Please use the fully qualified Categories string beginning with GTK;GNOME;... and not the short one from CVS.
