Package: uim-xim
Version: 1:1.8.6-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

I use uim-xim and uim-anthy with xterm in an UTF-8 locale, so everything
should be UTF-8. However, during text input, the preview in the xterm
window is broken and contains $ signs, which suggests that somewhere SJIS
is used instead of UTF-8 (see attached picture).
