Package: tar Version: 1.26 Severity: Minor Tags: patch An Ubuntu user (esr, yes that esr), reported some manpage markup glitches:
tar.1 has the following error codes in my database of manpage glitches: C Broken command synopsis syntax. This may mean you're using a construction in the command synopsis other than the standard [ ] | { }, or it may mean you have running text in the command synopsis section (the latter is not technically an error, but most cases of it are impossible to translate into DocBook markup), or it may mean the command syntax fails to match the description. V Missing body content in list trips up doclifter and is likely to cause rendering problems in non-troff viewers. I have been able to fill in what was missing except for what should be under TAR_LONGLINK_100.
