Package: wmaker
Version: 0.91.0-7.2
Severity: normal

Typing umlauts to menu description seems to cause WPrefs to ignore
input completely.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Run WPrefs
2. "Applications Menu Definition" category
3. Drag run program to applications to create a new menu entry
4. Double-click menu entry to edit entry description
5. Type "foo" and e.g. the umlaut letter "ä"
6. Try to type "bar" to the description field

Expected results:
5. Description should contain "fooä"
6. Description should contain "fooäbar"

Actual results
5. Description contains "foo"
6. Description contains "foo"

This issue came up when I upgraded from woody to sarge.
