Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from 'wheezy'. It installed fine in 'wheezy', then the upgrade to 'jessie' fails. >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): Preparing to replace tua 4.3-11 (using .../archives/tua_4.3-12_amd64.deb) ... /var/lib/dpkg/info/tua.prerm: 5: /var/lib/dpkg/info/tua.prerm: install-info: not found dpkg: warning: subprocess old pre-removal script returned error exit status 127 dpkg: trying script from the new package instead ... dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/tua_4.3-12_amd64.deb (--unpack): there is no script in the new version of the package - giving up Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/tua_4.3-12_amd64.deb To fix this, you need to add a dummy empty prerm script like this: #/bin/sh set -e # dummy empty prerm to ensure clean upgrades from wheezy, see #xxxxxx # this file can be reoved after jessie was released #DEBHELPER# cheers, Andreas
