Oh, it _ignores_ the changes to .git but doesn't complain if they're
present ?  If you hadn't been using dgit I guess you would have had an
ftpmaster auto-REJECT.  At least, I hope you would have, since
ftpmaster policy is that the upstream git history shouldn't be in the
archive.
