Package: xfce4 Version: 4.8.0.3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
my laptop has it’s global timezone set to UTC (as I do it for every computer), but I life in Germany where CE(S)T is correct. For this I have set the TZ-variable of my user (dab) to "Europe/Berlin" in my .bashrc. This works lovely on the command-line, in Konsole and if I use startx to start xfce from the shell. It does howerever not work if I use the grafical login. In this case the global timezone (UTC) is used and all programs I start by xfce (with the exception of Konsole) use the wrong timezone. Because I can not find a setting for the timezone in xfce I think the TZ- variable should be honored and used.
