Some investigation: 1) This seems to be a duplicate of #701412 which claims to be fixed in 1.0.1-5. 2) 1.0.1-5 from unstable builds fine for me in a sid and in a exp+perl5.18 amd64 chroot. 3) I'd close the bug with this version but would like to check if you still get the build failure yourself?
