your wish is defenitly a thing that upstream has to do. The Icedove packaging is mor or less only the adaption of the output from the source code build to the Debisan system and it's reglementations. So please fill up your wish into a (new?) Bugzilla entry on Mozilla. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ After that please provide the URL to that entry so we can set a forward address into this bug here.
