running a simple wsgi app under mod_wsgi 3.4 and apache 2.4 and configured wsgi in daemon mode it directly segfaulting. raising the loglevel to debug gives you a hint where it crashes. This bug is discussed at: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/modwsgi/yNdFjWrqgJw And the mentioned fix is a cherry pick from here: https://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/source/detail?r=20979c8abd2f722d210d419b96c85e46a36e2d75 I created a patch with the fix in it, and it fixes this issue. As I am running Ubuntu Saucy I filed a bug with a debdiff attached against mod-wsgi_3.4-3 here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mod-wsgi/+bug/1210787 Please feel free to take it, I'll add the debdiff also to this bugreport Regards, \sh
