Ok, after installing the package with the pdns-recursor script installed in /usr/lib/resolvconf/dpkg-event.d: Now I tried to purge the resolvconf package using the following command: aptitude purge resolvconf The command never returns, a zombie process was created and nothing else happened then. Thomas, if you need more information don't hesitate to ask. I will tag this bug wontfix until above is fixed in resolvconf.
