Package: kernel-package Version: 9.008.4 Severity: wishlist At the moment, kernel/image.postinst only talks about LILO on i386. Given that GRUB is the default on Debian now, it would be nice if kernel-package could be updated to mention GRUB. I don't know if there's a way to find out whether GRUB or LILO are used when both packages are installed, but you could check which package is installed and if only one talk about that boot loader.
