Package: guessnet
Version: 0.37-1
Severity: normal

This should not happen:

Link beat detection (mii) failed: Operation not supported SIOCGMIIPHY failed
Link beat detection (ethtool) failed: Operation not supported ETHTOOL_GLINK
failed
Link beat detection (priv) failed: Bad address SIOCDEVPRIVATE failed
guessnet: 5 candidate profiles
guessnet: Interface ath0 was down: initializing for broadcast
Link beat test requested on an interface without link beat detection support
guessnet: Link beat not detected
guessnet: Starting peer test subsystem
guessnet: Sending 10 ARP probes, 1 every second...
guessnet: Starting command test subsystem
Failed to bring up disconnected.

I thought I reported this before but cannot find it anymore.

Note: the above is the 0.35-1 output, but 0.37-1 has the same
problem but does not say

Link beat test requested on an interface without link beat detection support
