Package: monkeysign Version: 0.9 Severity: normal When I run monkeyscan, I get four video devices. In Cheese (GNOME) I don't get the option to choose a video device because there is only one plugged in but it is displayed as "Integrated Camera (/dev/video0)".
/dev/video0 /dev/v4l/by-path/pci-000:00:1a.0-usb-0:1.6:1.0-video-index0 /dev/v4l/by-id/usb-Chicony_Electronics_Co.__Ltd._Integrated_Camera-video-index0 /dev/char/81:0 In addition the video device file is probably not a very user-friendly choice for listing video devices. It would probably be a good idea to switch to whatever Cheese is using. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (550, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.9-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages monkeysign depends on: ii gnupg 1.4.14-1 ii python 2.7.5-2 Versions of packages monkeysign recommends: ii python-gtk2 2.24.0-3+b1 ii python-qrencode 1.01-2+b1 ii python-zbar 0.10+doc-8 ii python-zbarpygtk 0.10+doc-8 -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
