Package: e2fsprogs Version: 1.42.8-1 Severity: wishlist
After searching for "badblocks" via APT, I was amazed to realize that none of our package descriptions mention badblocks(8). I was also surprised to realize that badblocks was part of e2fsprogs. I understand that e2fsprogs and badblocks are related, but badblocks is also relevant for other file system types. Perhaps keep badblocks in the e2fsprogs source but split it to a different binary package?
