Package: s3cmd Version: 1.1.0~beta3-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
s3cmd says the following when I copy files to S3: "WARNING: Module python-magic is not available. Guessing MIME types based on file extensions." Probably python-magic should be a dependency or at least a recommended package. To see the warning, run a command like "touch test-file; s3cmd put test-file s3://(some bucket)/test-file" Thanks for maintaining the s3cmd Debian package :-) -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages s3cmd depends on: ii python 2.7.3-4 s3cmd recommends no packages. s3cmd suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
