Package: upower Followup-For: Bug #689298 This seems to be fixed now. I'm also running a kernel without CONFIG_TIMER_STATS and don't experience this problem.
Also the upstream changelog for version 0.9.19 states: "Do not continue to poll if /proc/timer_stats is not readable (Richard Hughes)" Thanks, Daniel Schaal -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (103, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.11.0-rc3-00004-g36f571e (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages upower depends on: ii dbus 1.6.12-1 ii libc6 2.17-91 ii libdbus-1-3 1.6.12-1 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.100.2-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.36.3-3 ii libgudev-1.0-0 204-2 ii libimobiledevice2 1.1.1-4 ii libplist1 1.8-1 ii libpolkit-gobject-1-0 0.111-0.1 ii libupower-glib1 0.9.21-1 ii libusb-1.0-0 2:1.0.16-3 ii systemd 204-2 ii udev 204-2 Versions of packages upower recommends: ii policykit-1 0.111-0.1 upower suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- debsums errors found: sh: 1: /usr/sbin/dpkg-divert: not found -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
