I followed the link in bug #717361 comment #21 and found a version of the patch for 319.32-1 at <http://pastebin.com/JDpkR3kt>. It works for me with kernel 3.9-1 as well as 3.10-1 despite lacking the extra version check conditionals as were added for 304.88-6. The maintainers will have to decide whether the patch needs this extra work.
