Package: xdvik-ja Version: 22.84.8-j1.22-1 Severity: normal
I've had a problem with xdvi crashing on a particular file. The segfault occurs in the xstrdup call htex_prescan_carry_over apparently because m_prescan_info.pagelist[] is full of NULLs The page of the dvi file that causes the crash contains a landscape table that contains hyperrefs (via \cite), however I think the crash is due to another \cite that is the first item of text on the subsequent page, as if I move the table to a slightly different location the problem goes away. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11.6 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages xdvik-ja depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfreetype6 2.1.10-1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libice6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-10 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libkpathsea3 2.1-1 path search library for teTeX (run ii libsm6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-10 X Window System Session Management ii libt1-5 5.1.0-2 Type 1 font rasterizer library - r ii libx11-6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-10 X Window System protocol client li ii libxaw7 6.8.2.dfsg.1-10 X Athena widget set library ii libxext6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-10 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxmu6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-10 X Window System miscellaneous util ii libxpm4 6.8.2.dfsg.1-10 X pixmap library ii libxt6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-10 X Toolkit Intrinsics ii tetex-bin 3.0-10.1 The teTeX binary files ii ttf-kochi-gothic [ttf-ko 1.0.20030809-3 Kochi Subst Gothic Japanese TrueTy ii ttf-kochi-mincho [ttf-ko 1.0.20030809-3 Kochi Subst Mincho Japanese TrueTy ii xlibs 6.8.2.dfsg.1-10 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-6 compression library - runtime Versions of packages xdvik-ja recommends: pn dvipsk-ja | dvi2ps <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
