Package: etckeeper
Version: 0.63
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

cron.daily/etckeeper ( debian/cron.daily in the source package ) contains on
line 8

 if [ -e "$pe" ] && [ ...

But where should $pe come from?
I guess that the $pe variable should have been $lockfile.

In my case an old lockfile did exist, but was not removed because the empty
string $pe is not a existing file.
The lockfile was probably left over fron the Squeeze to Wheezy upgrade where I
had to fix a few issues.
