Package: gnome-packagekit
Version: 3.8.2-4
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

To reproduce this problem download any Debian package to your $HOME
folder. Then run:
   gpk-install-local-file testdep-same_1.0-1_i386.deb

Replacing the above filename with the one of the package you downloaded.
You will then get the following error message when clicking on the
Install button:

  Failed to install file
  The query is not valid.
  More details:
    could not resolve: testdep-same_1.0-1_i386.deb

I suspect the problem is that gpk-install-local-file changes the current
directory before trying to open the Debian package file passed on the
command line.

Of course the workaround is to use absolute paths.
