If the inventory menu has scrolled so that the first few entries
are no longer visible, and you then press Left to return to the
main menu and Right to reenter the inventory menu, the game
selects the first inventory entry but does not scroll it to the
view.  If you have enough entries in the inventory (e.g. 18),
then you can even press Down a couple of times to select other
invisible entries, and the game won't scroll at that time either.
However, if you press Up, then the game notices that the
selected entry is above the topmost visible entry, and scrolls it
to the view.

The game should either scroll the selected entry to the view
immediately when the player enters the inventory menu, or
select an entry that is already visible.
