Sure, I'll report it to upstream too. However, I didn't actually "test" the upstream version because I couldn't get the upstream version to work at all. Inspired by http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=706066 I built a debian package for it but that hung the machine --- no response to alt-sysrq-b.
