Package: gamin Version: 0.0.21-1 With every version of gamin so far after some time of use nautilus stops responding to new files in the Desktop and other directories (haven't tested those though). To reproduce this I just do:
(in ~/Desktop) touch test rm test After having gamin running for a while this stops showing the new file in the Desktop. Doing a "killall -HUP gam_server" solves the problem. I'm not sure but this could be happening after S3 suspend/resume cycles, altough not every cycle triggers this. Maybe gam_server is getting confused with the date jumping too fast. I have an asus M2400N centrino laptop running today's Debian Sid with kernel 2.6.9-ac13 and libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20. Pedro.
