I noticed - when you look at the diff in emacs-fix branch you'll notice that 50verbiste-el.el changes are applied to debian/verbiste-el.emacsen-startup. I've pinged the upstream author of verbiste.el, but got no response. Therefore I repinged him and if he does not respond in few days, I plan to use patched verbiste.el and release it with a new minor debian version.
