Package: grub Version: 0.95+cvs20040624-18 Severity: minor I just got the following messages during upgrade:
| Searching for GRUB installation directory ... found: /boot/grub . | Testing for an existing GRUB menu.list file... found: /boot/grub/menu.lst . | Searching for splash image... none found, skipping... | Found kernel: /vmlinuz-2.6.12-1-686 | Updating /boot/grub/menu.lst ... done This is all pretty minor but there are several things that could be improved here: - the messages are not consistent with regards to spacing before an ellipsis. In Debian it's common to put a space there. - in the first two lines, the dot at the end looks a bit strange since it has a space before... in fact, it's also inconsistent with the last but one line where no dot is printed at the end. I suggest no dot is printed in the former two cases either. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages grub depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libncurses5 5.5-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand grub recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
