Hi,

I might be wrong here, but isn't libguestfs running all the commands
into an appliance? Shouldn't all these dependencies installed only
inside the appliance? Or is there a "mode" where libguestfs can run
commands on the host?

When running update-guestfs-appliance it seems that supermin is
downloading all the required packages directly from the archive, so
explicit dependencies on the packages might not be required.

FTR, libguestfs build-dependencies:

https://github.com/libguestfs/libguestfs/blob/master/README#L42

Packages installed inside the appliance:

Cheers

Laurent Bigonville
