To all concerned, this was indeed fallout from some packaging changes. The missing line should now be in the tree for each architecture - though I had to do a bit of guess, so if you are an arch maintainer, please take a peek. The fix should appear in 2.6.14-2, and that should be released shortly. There seems to be an unrelated headers problem, #336424, which has been around since 2.6.12-X, but only noticed recently.
