Package: gnome-session Version: 3.4.2.1-4 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
After an upgrade of gnome-session:all from 3.4.2.1-3 to 3.4.2.1-4 gnome-session failed to run due to a missing symbol in the shared library libatspi.so.0.0.1 provided by libatspi2.0-0. This was using libatspi2.0-0:i386 2.5.1-1 and apt-get did not bring in a newer version when I installed gnome-session. After manually upgrading libatspi2.0-0 to version 2.9.3-1, the problem went away. Maybe the gnome-session package should update its dependency on libatspi2.0-0 to a higher version than 2.5.1-1. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnome-session depends on: ii gnome-session-bin 3.4.2.1-4 ii gnome-session-common 3.4.2.1-4 ii gnome-settings-daemon 3.4.2+git20121218.7c1322-3 ii gnome-shell 3.4.2-10 Versions of packages gnome-session recommends: ii gnome-power-manager 3.8.2-1 ii gnome-session-fallback 3.4.2.1-4 Versions of packages gnome-session suggests: ii desktop-base 7.0.3 ii gnome-keyring 3.4.1-4 ii gnome-user-guide 3.8.2-1 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
