This is controlled through the sbuild PURGE_BUILD_DEPS configuration option ($purge_build_deps = 'always|successful|never' or the --purge-deps or --purge command-line options. Are you sure that this is not being set to "never" either in /etc/sbuild/sbuild.conf, .sbuildrc or on the command-line? Regards, Roger -- .''`.
