Package: googleearth-package
Version: 0.7.0
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

The googleearth package built includes the libcurl.so.4 shared lib that comes
with the googleearth blob.

This library now no longer works with the google earth servers and will always
return "Invalid HTTP Request"
error any time one tries to search for any location.

I have verified that removing this library and installing:
     ii libcurl3:i386                      7.31.0-2

solves the problem and allows the googleerth installed via this package to work
correctly.

My recommendation is for googleearth-package to Recommend: libcurl3 (>= 7.31.0)
and to build a package that
Requires libcurl3 (>= 7.31.0). I have not tested with earlier versions of
libcurl to see if they work.
