If your system needs a processor microcode update, it will now be done so early, it will be the very first message the kernel logs. Well, maybe there is a minor bug in that something is annoyingly including the microcode driver in the initramfs, even when intel-microcode did not ask for it. No harm done, but it logs those useless error messages and it might slow the boot down a few tenths of a second. Did you, perchance, configured initramfs-tools to insert _all_ modules on the initramfs? That might do it... -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them.
