Package: musescore
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

this is not an urgent bug, but rather a heads-up for future musescore releases:

Up to version 1.3, musescore shipped the TimGM6mb.sf2 sound font file. However,
in later releases this will be replaced by a sound font in the newly introduced
sf3 format. This is bad, because said sound font is one of two sound fonts in
Debian that e.g. fluidsynth can use for midi playback, the other one being
fluid-soundfont-gm which weights 145 MB. So, if you are ever going to package
more recent versions of musescore than 1.3, please make sure to package
TimGM6mb.sf2 separately for it to remain available in Debian.

Thanks!
