With the exceptions of #710545 and #711761, all the issues related to switching the default python3 to python3.3 appear to have been resolved. The consensus on debian-python is that those to issues that each affect a single package on a single architecture should not block switching the default.
Unless any new issues turn up or the release team objects, I'm planning to make the switch once python-scipy makes it to testing, presumably next weekend. Once python3-defaults makes python3.3 the default, we'll need a sourcefull upload of pycxx and binNMUs of several packages to complete this phase of the transition.
