I done a fresh install of Wheezy on my Thinkpad E130 (Core i3, Sandybridge) today and can confirm this bug is present in 3.2.46-1.
Not figured out, how to trigger it in a reliable way, but my graphics just froze the second time while just using the Gnome Shell.
