When running "rup" either on the m68k host itself or on another box, 
rstatd misbehaves in that way that it is being forked several times
by inetd:

All these processes will stay in memory until they get killed by root.

This is an old bug, occuring on kernel 2.2.20 and at least the release of 
woody, so 
I think it should be fixed somewhen. ;)
