Hi Kevin, frankly, I don't use emacs and I don't really understand your problems. :) I remember that I've tried verbiste-emacs-thing once and it worked for me back then.
Would you be able to provide patches to both bugs you submitted? Or at least lead me, in laic terms, so that I can understand and then fix your bugs? Cheers!
