Are you still able to trigger the issue? I'm unable to reproduce this issue; Perhaps it was a transient failure? What were the exact commandline arguments you used? Did the machine running ltsp-build-client have resolvconf installed? What did /etc/resolv.conf on the server and in the client chroot contain? Could you reproduce with different locale settings?
