Excellent! So I'll wait to get your code (yesterday I started working on Marco's code too as I finally got a fully working qemu+evms environment to play with). I'm working on the EvmsDev object trying to make some sense of all the segment/region/etc relationships and trying to call evms_query as less as possible as it's very slow.
